Unit tests allow us to check that components function as expected, and if our tests stop working, it easily indicates there is an issue during the development stage, so there is no risk of this broken code reaching production as it can be fixed during development. We aim for a code coverage of 90%, which is achievable when starting a project from scratch - it comes down to the team's mindset and skills.

Performance

With Nextjs and the server/client architecture, web applications can do all the heavy lifting on the server and render pages quickly and efficiently, whilst allowing complex interaction on the client side. Date is always kept up-to-date with cache invalidation on interaction, ensuring you have a fully interactive application. Static pages are lightning fast as they are rendered on the server before being deployed.
